Word from the owners:
We bought this flat, our first home, a few years ago and have enjoyed renovating the property and making it the warm and welcoming space it is today. We've lived in Leyton for almost 10 years and absolutely love it here. We've found the flat to be ideally connected: in walking distance Leyton tube (central line) is no more than 10 minutes from the flat, Stratford is 15 minutes away, and we are only 10-15 minutes from the Leytonstone High Road overground which is ideal for visiting friends. With the Elizabeth line opening soon in Stratford, the commute is about to get even easier. We love the proximity to the Olympic Park (V&A East opening in 2024) and Westfield shopping centre. There's a lovely community feel to the area which we've made the most of: Francis Road is just 10 minutes away for freshly ground coffee, wine, pastries and Phlox books. The Italian restaurant Mora serves the best Sardinian pasta in London and is only round the corner. It was always important to us to live near a good pub and there are several great drinking spots nearby: The Leyton Star, The Birds, Filly Brook, The Technical and The Birkbeck Tavern at the end of the road to name a few. We've loved living right in the middle of all of the best bits Leyton and Leytonstone has to offer! A typical weekend for us is spent in the local area and hanging out with friends and family over at our place. Now that we've started a family we are looking forward to moving a little further afield. We'll miss living here, Leyton will always hold a very special place in our hearts. All round it's been an amazing place to call home.
